Section 3: What will be tested<br />
The syllabus sets out the skills which will be tested in the examination papers. In First Language English,<br />
there are four main skills – two which test how well you understand and receive in<strong>for</strong>mation, and two which<br />
test how well you are able to convey, or pass on, in<strong>for</strong>mation. This in<strong>for</strong>mation might be in<strong>for</strong>mation you<br />
have just received, or it might be new and original in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />
