The Awards Dinner is Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont. Speaker for the event is Very Reverend Brian O’Donnell, S.J. will discuss Bishop Bransfield’s recent pastoral letter: Setting Children Free-----Loosening the Bonds of Poverty in West Virginia. The 28 th Annual Walk-for-Life will take place in Morgantown on Saturday, April 27, 2013, with registration from 9:30–10:00 am at the outdoor pavilion of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Star City. The 3.4 mile walk will begin at 10:00 am. The rain or shine family event is sponsored by the Mon County Chapter of West Virginians for Life. Free food and prizes awarded at the rally following the walk at the outdoor pavilion where the walk began. Free t-shirts to the first 20 walkers with at least $100 in pledges.
