Analysis of two main LNG CCS (cargo containment system) insulation boxes for leakage safety using
experimentally defined thermal properties Original Research Article
Applied Ocean Research, Volume 37, August 2012, Pages 72-89
Sung Woong Choi, Jeong U. Roh, Moo Sun Kim, Woo Il Lee
► Experiment of thermal conductivity of LNG CCS insulation materials is conducted. ► Each
insulation CCS box has superior insulation function from the steady state result. ► In transient result,
thermal safety is guaranteed for hull with the bottom plywood. ► Without the bottom plywood, the
thermal safety depends on lots of factors. ► The factors are the saturated leaked area and leaked
mass flow rate of the LNG.
Aerial lime-based mortars blended with a pozzolanic additive and different admixtures: A
mineralogical, textural and physical-mechanical study Original Research Article
Construction and Building Materials, Volume 31, June 2012, Pages 135-143
A. Arizzi, G. Cultrone
► Changes of mortar hardened properties induced . by additives and admixtures. ► Influence of
additive content and aggregate ratios on mortar strength and pore system. ► Benefits of these
components in the elaboration of restoration mortars.
