1921, daughter of FRANCES RICHMOND and MARY STEARNS. She was born 06
Aug 1900 in Middlebourne, Tyler Co., WVa., and died 25 Jan 1977
in Weirton, Hancock Co., WVa. February 2,. He married (2) MINNIE
GREGG Bef. 1942. She was born 1907.
Notes for DORIAN A. WELLS:
According to information received by Fred Wells of Chester, WVa.,
Dora Wells' given name was Dorian A. Wells. Dorian apparently
worked for Wheeling Steel Corp. and owned a bar near the
stockyard in Moundsville, WVa. According the information, Minnie
Gregg Wells got mixed up with a guy in the bar in plot to kill
Dorian for his insurance money. Well Dorian was at a 'cock
fight' at the Fair in Jacktown, Pa. when he was beatin to death
by a bunch of guys. One of which was the man that Minnie took up
with.
During the trial witnesses identified Minnie as being with these
men and the new man of Minnie's was found guilty and spent only
two years in jail for the killing of Dorian. Then after being
released from jail, Minnie and this other man were married.
Apparently 6 years later, Minnie house explosed.
