Access Engineer
Access Platform Sales (APS) are one of the largest suppliers of new and
used powered access equipment in the UK.
We are currently in the process of recruiting an experienced Access
Engineer to service, PDI and repair powered access and material handling
equipment at our workshop facility in Upton near Huntingdon.
The Role:
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical faults and rectify these on
customer equipment.
• All repairs to be carried out in a timely and professional manner in
accordance with company policy.
• Mainly workshop based with occasional travel to local repairs.
The Candidate:
• Experience of working with access equipment or forklifts is essential.
• Good fault finding and diagnostics skills are key in this role.
• Qualified as a time-serviced electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or
equivalent City & Guilds/ONC/Btec with work experience. Trained to
CAP standard is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a logical and methodical way to ensure that nothing
is missed.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
We offer a competitive salary, £23,000 to £25,000 per annum depending
on experience and pension (after qualifying period).
