CHRISTINE G. VERCONTAIRE:
Loving mother, grandmother,
sister, friend. LEOMINSTER,
MA, Christine G. (Bourque)
Vercontaire, 94, died January
3, 2013, at Keystone Center.
She was born in Leominster
on September 18, 1918, the
daughter of Henry and Marguerite
(Cloutier) Bourque.
She was predeceased by her
husband, Joseph F. Vercontaire,
and a brother, Raymond Bourque. She leaves two
daughters, Sandra A. Breault of Maine, and Susan A.
Young and husband, Stan of Fitchburg, two sons, Paul H.
Vercontaire and wife, Nancy of Arizona, and Joseph H.
Vercontaire and wife, Suzanne of Texas; grandchildren,
Pamela Bradbury, Lynn Abbott, Melissa Beaudet, Jason
Vercontaire, Michael Vercontaire, and Nichole Vercontaire;
great-grandchildren, Xavier Soto, Jaylon Zajkowski
and Kaeden Zajkowski, Joseph Bradbury, Jake Faulkner,
; and a sister, Jeanne Mackiln. She attended St. Cecilia’s
School and Leominster High School, worked at Foster
Grants, Lubins, and Yours Truly. She was a most loving
mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She made
everyone smile and laugh all of the time. She is already
greatly missed. A Memorial service will be held at a later
date. THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89
West St., Leominster is assisting the family with all arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to St. Jude’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis,
