forced great chefs to move to India. This led to the<br />
emergence of new culinary chapter. One such man was<br />
Kundan Lal Guiral, who started Moti Mahal in<br />
1920 in<br />
Peshawar.<br />
The Peshawar phenomenon set up his secondary eatery in<br />
Daryagani in 1947, following the partition and soon<br />
acquired world wide patronage and became an institution. .<br />
Moti Maha|’s guest list consisted of great people Pt.<br />
Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Former President Zakir<br />
Hussain, the Shah of Iran, Kennedeys and ex-USSR Premier<br />

Khrushchev was so impressed by the Indian tandoori food<br />
served at Moti Mahal that he invited Kundan to set up Moti<br />
Mahal in Moscow at a trade fair for a month in I 960's<br />
The legacy of Moti Mahal’s tandoori trail continues...And<br />
has now reached in Bangalore.<br />
