Validation Most PROs aggregate responses in some way and assign a numerical score The process of spelling out the meaning of the score is called “validation” Does the score qualify as a measurement in any sense that resembles measurement in the physical sciences It is generally agreed that a measure must be repeatable, within some limits of reliability
