With new technology like Mandowen’s satellite device and new translation strategies, we are witnessing the greatest acceleration of the pace of Bible translation that the world has ever seen. In 2011, we dedicated over forty completed Bible projects—more than any other year! I firmly believe that God is honoring the faithful prayers of His people. Translation projects for the people represented in this issue of The Finish Line are nearing completion, and now is an important time to pray because projects in this stage often experience significant setbacks.
