Alzheimer’s and dementia patients;
‣ A November Seminar tour (Nov.1,
2010) for the Interdisciplinary Center

into a Contemplative Studies
program;
‣ Working with Dr. Michelle
Froese to help design an MU
Student Unions Public Art
internship position (now
filled);
‣ Serving on the Art-i-Fact

conjunction with their course project

Honors course seminar discussion
about the Pride of Place campus
heritage network and the
importance of place and heritage in
an increasingly digitized society and
culture;
‣ Represented the Museum at a
Mizzou Advantage poster session
(April 27, 2011)presenting highlights
‣ Representing the Museum in
planning the annual Campus
Gallery Crawl (Sept.23, 2010)
‣ Participating in a planning
workshop under the auspices
of MU Extension to develop a
prototype Community Arts
program to promote
community economic
renewal;
‣ Coordinating a new Healing
Arts network involving faculty
and community leaders
interested in the therapeutic
role of the arts;
‣ Developing a Homecoming audio
tour involving the use of personal
cellphones so that campus visitors
can call and hear brief narratives
about monuments and markers as
they walk across the MU campus;
‣ Developing the ARCHST 4630
online course about design arts
with the Center for Distance and
Independent Studies (CDIS) in
order to extend the reach of the
Museum through online
education;
‣ Published a new anthology
entitled Coming Home Again
(book) that examines the arc of
American cultural history through
the art and archaeology of our
own Missouri heritage, treating
Missouri as a living museum in
order to create even wider
