The Duty Holder has a legal requirement
to ensure that High Voltage network
maintenance has been carried out to a
suitable standard, and to ensure that your
network’s condition allows it to function
safely in normal operation and to ‘fail
safe’ under fault conditions. So ERIKS
Power Service maintenance delivers:

system accredited to ISO 9001.
These sites and their engineers are
accredited to undertake work on
electrical equipment used in hazardous
areas, and ERIKS was the first UK
company to achieve this certification.

determination to get to the root cause of

Motor failures in particular are very
often suffered unnecessarily. By
working closely with your electrical and
mechanical engineers – on areas such
as drive-end bearing failure, coupling
alignment and other problems which
can cause the ultimate destruction of
windings – we can re-engineer the
problems out of your equipment, to
reduce your costs and limit the impact
on the plant.

Bearings
Bearings are a key element in every
rotating machine yet, according to SKF,
up to 57% fail before their design life
due to lubrication problems, fatigue,
incorrect installation or contamination.
ERIKS is unique in being able to
provide guidance and technical support
across all types and brands. Our teams
can evaluate an application, bearing
selection, sealing and lubrication, and
offer installation services with the total
support of all leading manufacturers.
Through Revolvo, an ERIKS company
based in Dudley, we are also
manufacturers ourselves, producing
split roller bearings, remanufactured
bearings, and specialist and obsolete/
imperial sizes – all to short lead-times to
ensure you have the bearing you want
as quickly as you need it.
Major savings
Revolvo Split Roller Bearings (SRB)
are responsible for some of the largest
savings in maintenance costs for
rotating equipment.
The ability to change bearings without
removing shafts (or the rest of the
machine around it) is only part of the story.
