Ephesians 2:1-5
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,
2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the
air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its
desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
John 3:16-18
16 ”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because
he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not
be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of

1 Peter 1:18-19

1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;

Isaiah 53:3-7
3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom
men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten
by him, and afflicted.
