Departure from the <strong>Congress</strong> Center Alfândega for the <strong>Porto</strong> City Tour.<br />
The tour starts at the Cathedral – the second oldest cathedral in <strong>Portugal</strong> (12th<br />
and <strong>13th</strong> century).<br />
On to Ribeira, stop for a visit to the Stock Exchange Palace, an imposing building of<br />
the 19th century and famous for its marvellous “Moorish Hall”, a reproduction<br />
of the Alhambra Palace.<br />
The St. Francis Church was built in the <strong>13th</strong> century in Gothic style and is famous<br />
for its superb interior in Baroque style.<br />

First stop at Guimarães, the Nation’s birthplace, including a visit to the Ducal<br />
Palace and a guided walking tour of the historical centre.<br />
The tour proceeds to the historic Ponte de Lima Village, famous for its imposing<br />
Roman bridge and manor houses. Stop for lunch.<br />
The tour continues to Valença, a fortified town for a guided walking tour.<br />
Return to <strong>Porto</strong>, passing through Vila Nova de Cerveira, Caminha and Viana do Castelo,<br />
known for its embroideries, jewellery and folklore. Stop for a panoramic tour<br />
