It is the intent of this program that faculty, students,

the manner in which they are served and have a choice
in the selections of appropriate assistance.
The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act
The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act (section
1601 of Public Law 106-386) is a federal law inacted
Oct. 28, 2000, that provides for the tracking of convicted
sex offenders enrolled or employed by institutions of
higher education.
In compliance with CSCPA, the Northwest Mississippi
Community College community may find the required
information at the Mississippi Department of Public
Safety web site at www.dps.state.ms.us (sex offender
registry).
