Get to see the City of Yellowknife, learn how
to prepare northern wild game and fish, and
enjoy your creations in our luxurious Aurora
Room with suitable wine pairings. Each trip
includes two afternoon culinary labs with
award winning chef Pierre LePage.
Learn about wild game of the North, different
berries and herbs from the region and how
to prepare wild game in harmony with the
local flavours. Learn about the different fish
species, how to fillet the fish, make stock,
chowders, sauces and cooking methods.
The package also includes a welcome wine
and cheese reception, boat tour with a
gourmet shore lunch, (prepared by your guide
who is also a chef), a trip to a nearby waterfall
with a box lunch plus hotel accommodation.
Longer trip includes evening Aurora viewing
at Aurora Village with buffalo stew plus
several other local activities.

Heli-hike the South Nahanni

Be the soaring eagle over mountain tops,
perching wherever freedom takes you. Feel
the thrill of wild places no other human has
ever been to. Hikes tailored to all levels of
fitness and experience.
We offer 7, 10 and 12 day hiking trips by
helicopter, with an emphasis on wildlife,
geology or exploring, and tailored to every
age and experience level. Some wildlife you
will see includes; Dall’s sheep, mountain
goats, caribou, moose, wolves, bears. Also
view fossils of the former ocean floors:
geological formations including karsts, sink
holes, deep canyons, glacier fields, spires
and a wealth of breathtaking mountain
scenery in total solitude, in the unpopulated
wilderness of the South Nahanni ranges of
the Mackenzie Mountains.
