GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Tenders are invited for hiring of taxi passing diesel driven non A/C long chassis jeep
(BOLERO, TAVERA, QUALIS, XYLO or equivalent) of Model
“JUNE 2010 and thereafter” for EE (ALDC), Jambuva, Vadodara on
Annual rate contract basis.
2. Touring journey generally covers area within Gujarat state and as per instruction of
Engineer-in-charge
3. Conditions here under are applicable in addition to the terms and conditions
mentioned in Booklet “TENDER AND CONTRACT OF WORKS” available for
reference at the Office of C.E. (SLDC) GETCO, SLDC Gotri.
4. The rates quoted shall be on annual rate contract basis and will remain valid for
Twenty four calendar months to execute the order.
Rates must be inclusive all the applicable taxes (except condition no 40), salary,
cost of fuel, oil and other consumables, wear and tear of tyre and tubes and
maintenance charges including material cost to keep vehicle in full working and
smooth running condition.
Without obtaining any confirmation, further three months extension order can be
issued by the Tender accepting authority in case required by the Company at same
rate, terms & conditions.
The Company reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time without
assigning any reason. The contractor (s) shall not be entitled to any compensation of
such termination of contract.
5. The rates quoted shall include all taxes, levies pertaining to vehicles of the class
specified herein in the Schedule B including but not limited to fuel taxes, levies,
service taxes, salary and perks to the driver levied by the Govt. CPF to the driver etc
.in force from time to time during the period of contract.
6. Vehicle will have to be sent alongwith well experienced white dressed driver having
good manners with necessary tools and tackles to meet the normal break down while
on road. The driver sent with the vehicle shall have license for vehicle driving min
05 years and taxi badge. The driver shall be well versed with RTO rules. If driver
fails to wear uniform as indicated a penalty of Rs.100/- per day will be deducted &
continuous observance for 15 days will make the contract liable for termination at
contractor‟s risk & cost.
7. The driver shall drive the vehicle only in accordance with the clear directives of
Officer in charge and as per the RTO rules. In case driving is found unsatisfactory,
contractor shall have to replace the driver with good one or the contract will
terminate at contractor‟s risk & cost.
