Membership and Volunteer Registration
The Bannister Creek Catchment Group welcomes new members and volunteers. How you
contribute is up to you, from active participation to simply receiving information about our projects
and local environmental issues.
What we do:
• Undertake on ground activities to improve the health of the catchment including
revegetation, water monitoring, fauna surveying, public education
• Hold monthly Bush Regeneration Days (planting, weeding, seed collection etc)
• Produce a quarterly newsletter and reports on projects
• Hold monthly meetings to discuss projects/issues
• Hold Annual General meetings and Special General meetings
• Run volunteer and special event celebrations

Becoming a member of the Bannister Creek Catchment Group Inc.
Members have the opportunity to be involved in planning and decision making. Membership gives you voting rights at
BCCG Inc. meetings. However as a general member you are not required to attend these meetings.
To become a member simply fill out the form over the page and send/fax it back to the BCCG Inc.
Membership is free.
You do not have to become a member to volunteer for the group.

Registering as a volunteer of the Bannister Creek Catchment Group Inc.
If you would like to undertake any volunteer work for the Bannister Creek Catchment Group Inc. please fill in the details
on the back page. We require all these details so that we can ensure that you are covered by our volunteer insurance.
Please note Children 5 years and under are not covered by our volunteer insurance.
The BCCG Inc. greatly appreciates the help of all volunteers. To support the efforts of our volunteers we supply all
tools, gloves, sunscreen etc (you need to provide own clothing and shoes). A yearly volunteer celebration is also held
to thank people for there involvement.
Thanks to donations from a number of organizations we are also able to offer volunteer awards for hours
achievements. See details below:
BCCG Drink bottle: Presented after completing 25 hrs
BCCG Hat: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 50 hours
BCCG Screen Printed TShirt: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 100 hours
Award and Book Voucher: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 300 hours
When you have filled out the form on the back page you will receive notification that your membership has been
accepted (if applicable) and an introduction pack to the BCCG Inc.
