<strong>Bannister</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Catchment</strong> <strong>Group</strong> Inc.<br />
<strong>Membership</strong> and Volunteer Registration<br />
The <strong>Bannister</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Catchment</strong> <strong>Group</strong> welcomes new members and volunteers. How you<br />
contribute is up to you, from active participation to simply receiving information about our projects<br />
and local environmental issues.<br />
What we do:<br />
• Undertake on ground activities to improve the health of the catchment including<br />
revegetation, water monitoring, fauna surveying, public education<br />
• Hold monthly Bush Regeneration Days (planting, weeding, seed collection etc)<br />
• Produce a quarterly newsletter and reports on projects<br />
• Hold monthly meetings to discuss projects/issues<br />
• Hold Annual General meetings and Special General meetings<br />
• Run volunteer and special event celebrations<br />

Becoming a member of the <strong>Bannister</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Catchment</strong> <strong>Group</strong> Inc.<br />
Members have the opportunity to be involved in planning and decision making. <strong>Membership</strong> gives you voting rights at<br />
BCCG Inc. meetings. However as a general member you are not required to attend these meetings.<br />
To become a member simply fill out the form over the page and send/fax it back to the BCCG Inc.<br />
<strong>Membership</strong> is free.<br />
You do not have to become a member to volunteer for the group.<br />

If you would like to undertake any volunteer work for the <strong>Bannister</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Catchment</strong> <strong>Group</strong> Inc. please fill in the details<br />
on the back page. We require all these details so that we can ensure that you are covered by our volunteer insurance.<br />
Please note Children 5 years and under are not covered by our volunteer insurance.<br />
The BCCG Inc. greatly appreciates the help of all volunteers. To support the efforts of our volunteers we supply all<br />
tools, gloves, sunscreen etc (you need to provide own clothing and shoes). A yearly volunteer celebration is also held<br />
to thank people for there involvement.<br />
Thanks to donations from a number of organizations we are also able to offer volunteer awards for hours<br />
achievements. See details below:<br />
BCCG Drink bottle: Presented after completing 25 hrs<br />
BCCG Hat: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 50 hours<br />
BCCG Screen Printed TShirt: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 100 hours<br />
Award and Book Voucher: Presented at a nominated BCCG event after completing 300 hours<br />
When you have filled out the form on the back page you will receive notification that your membership has been<br />
accepted (if applicable) and an introduction pack to the BCCG Inc.
