Freesole® Data Sheet • For repairing worn heels. Key and clean the area to be worked. Place removable tape (cellophane or Masking) around heel edge to form dam. Double thickness of tape works best. Squeeze Freesole onto area to be repaired, and level with spreader or knife. Keep repair facing up and level until Freesole becomes solid, then remove tape. Allow to dry overnight (thick repairs 24 - 48hrs). Tip: after applying and levelling, sprinkle a fine layer of sand over the repair , which when the repair is dry will aid with traction on slippery surfaces. Instructions for use when using Cotol 240 as accelerator — Mixing ratio (by volume) 1 part Cotol 240 with 3-4 parts Freesole. • Mix thoroughly on a non-absorbent surface. • Immediately apply the mixture. Application Recommendations — Conditions Temperature 5 - 35°C. Relative humidity There is no recommendation on humidity other than that you need some. Higher temperatures will give faster cure times than higher humidity. — Equipment Firm brush. Plastic spreader. Knife or McNett adhesive guns, manual or pneumatic. — Number of coats Apply in one even coat. — Cleaning of equipment Cotol 240 or isopropyl alcohol. Drying Times 10 - 14hrs.. (Dependent on temperature and humidity). 24 - 48hrs for thicker repairs. (Dependent on temperature and humidity). 2 - 3 hrs. with Cotol 240 accelerator. (Dependent on temperature and humidity). Refer to Safety Data Sheet for more detailed information. Storage Store original packed tubes in a cool dry place. Storage for opened tubes: Advance contents to tube neck. Wipe clean and cap. Keep in a cool dry place or, for extended life, in freezer. For thawing or for easier flowing contents, soak tube in warm water for 15 minutes. Packing 28gr tube on blister card. Safety precautions Wear protective clothing and gloves at all times. Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment.
