Policy Update for
Physicians Fulfilling
Military Service
To support our physicians engaged
in military service, we allow
participating physicians and other
health care professionals to remain in
the Aetna network while they are
fulfilling their military obligations.
Recredentialing is suspended for
providers on military leave, and their
information is temporarily
suppressed so they won’t appear in
DocFind ® , our online referral
directory, or in printed directories.
We thank our participating
physicians for their military service
and wish them a safe return.
