H&H Conception:<br />
Al Irvin (the father) handles the front office duties including sales, quoting and<br />
ordering materials. Luke Irvin (the son) heads up the construction process and<br />
crews. Bringing past work experiences together was done at the suggestion of (the<br />
mother) Joyce Irvin. Both Al and Luke owned construction businesses with names<br />
that began with the letter H. They took the suggestion to combine their businesses<br />
in 2005, concentrating on building post frame buildings, thus H&H Custom<br />
<strong>Buildings</strong>, Inc. came into existence; they haven't looked back.<br />
Experience:<br />
Experience has been a major factor in the success of H&H Custom <strong>Buildings</strong>, Inc. Al<br />
began an 18 year career in the retail lumber industry right out of high school. Al<br />
moved into management for the next 12 years, managed the 7th largest store out<br />
of 367 stores in a retail and contractor lumber yard. For the next 8 years he was a<br />
saw mill manager. Al took the opportunity to build a successful insurance agency,<br />
winning national sales awards for the next 13 years.
