2. Author name and title: Provide your full<br />

name and title on the article. For example:<br />

teacher, Broomfield, CO<br />

Optional information: brief author bio and/<br />

or picture<br />

3. Content: Keep these points in mind:<br />

Audience: Is the article geared toward<br />

elementary, middle, high school, college<br />

students or for teachers/practitioners<br />

Pictures: Include who, what, when, where<br />

for the caption.<br />

Cite and reference as necessary.<br />

4. Deadlines: E-mail articles to nnguye57@<br />

Indicate in the subject line “<strong>COAHPERD</strong><br />

journal article submission.”<br />

dates : Jan 15, 2012 and July 15, 2012<br />

5. What to expect: Confirmation of receiving<br />

article from editor; review of articles from<br />

review board, notification for acceptance/<br />

revision/rejection 30days from journal due<br />
