GLORIA AMMERLAAN
A Member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers since 2002, Gloria
Ammerlaan has been actively involved in both the National and State Executives.
A dedicated member of the National Executive Committee, Gloria has been the
National Membership Chairperson since 2008.
When the State Chapters were first formed in 2009, Gloria was appointed
Vice-President of Victoria and held that position until 23rd September, 2014 when
she became the AIBB’s first female State President. Gloria was also the first female
qualified Registered Business Valuer of the AIBB, having graduated from the inaugural
Class of 2009.
Principal of Connect Business Brokers, situated in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne,
Gloria is also actively involved with the REIV – Business Broker Chapter
and local business networking groups. Gloria is a Fellow of the AIBB and was a
finalist in the AIBB – Senior Business Broker of the Year Award in 2011 and in 2013.

Vic Whiteley is a Licensed Business Broker (LBB) with extensive experience in senior management roles in
various industries, including Information Technology and Telecommunications. He has held CEO and Sales &
Marketing management positions across a span of multinational companies, both in Australia, Asia/Pacific,
Europe and the USA, as well as establishing his own locally-operated businesses in business broking, management
consulting and training and is currently a Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist with LINK Corporate
Vic also has experience working in the management advisory area, being involved in mergers, acquisitions,
divestments and capital raisings with clients ranging from privately-owned Australian top-performers to ASX
listed companies and major global organisations
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, majoring in Accounting, from the University of New South
Wales and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).
On Wednesday 10th September, Vice
President Paul Nielsen signed an historic
Sponsorship agreement between the
AIBB and the Commonwealth Bank of
Australia at a special signing ceremony
hosted by Adam Bennett, Executive
General Manager, CBA and Senior Executives
of the bank at CBA headquarters
in Sydney.
This Agreement provides an up front
payment by CBA as Major Sponsor of
the Institute and ongoing royalties to
the Institute as well as up to $25,000 per
deal Commission for Accredited AIBB
Business Brokers who refer Lenders to
the CBA resulting in a successful loan
application.
This arrangement is exclusively for AIBB
members, both Full and Associate Members
under the CBA’s Alliance Partnership
program.
The referral arrangement also provides
for commissions to be paid to AIBB
Members on a wide range of Banking
products that could be offered to
referees.
These include:
Commercial Loans: Business Line of
Credit; Commercial Bills; Better Business
Loans; Business Overdrafts and Market
Rate Loans.
Equipment and Motor Vehicle Loans
Home & Investment Loans
Transaction Products – Corporate
Charge/Credit Cards; Business Transaction
Account; Premium Business
Account and many more……..
AIBB Members will not need to become
‘finance guru’s’ to tap into this potentially
lucrative income stream as minimal
training is required – the ‘heavy lifting’
involved will be done by a dedicated
CBA executive who will be available to
Accredited AIBB Member participants
by phone and Email as required and will
liaise directly with the referred party.
