New reinforcement of the corner post – cross girder was disposed (Figure 12).
One of the most difficult problems was the riveting of the new elements (Figure
13). In order to maintain the initial character of the structure rivets with diameter of
21 and 23 mm were chosen.
In figure 14 the reinforcement of a current upper chord joint is presented.
