4 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
The Bidder is expected to have read and examined all the instructions, forms, terms and
specifications in the Tender Document with full understanding of its implications. Failure to
furnish all information required in the Tender Document or submission of a bid not substantially
responsive to the Tender Document in every respect will be at the Bidder’s risk and may result
in outright rejection of the bid.
The Bidders are advised to strictly adhere to the proformae provided for that purpose in
this document. Any deviation in this matter will lead to disqualification of the Tender.
3.1 DEFINITIONS
The following definitions shall govern for the respective terms as hereinafter mentioned in this
document:

The prospective tenderer who has duly
purchased the Tender Document and intends to offer
the goods and services mentioned in this document.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM): Original equipment manufacturer in case
of hardware and original developer in case of software.
3.2 COST OF THE TENDER DOCUMENT
The Bidder shall deposit `1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) being the cost of the tender
document. It can be done either by way of a Demand Draft favoring The Jogindra Central
Cooperative Bank Limited payable at Solan or by depositing it in cash with the cashier of the
Bank in any of its branches. Payment made through any other mode will not be accepted and
decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final, conclusive and binding on the Bidder.
It is an absolute must that the cost of tender document is paid as directed; otherwise the offer
shall stand summarily rejected and no correspondence in this matter shall be entertained.
3.3 MAJOR PARTS OF TENDER
This invitation for bid is for undertaking the following activities:
a. Supply, installation, Configuration and Commissioning of Desktop Computers
b. Supply, installation, Configuration and Commissioning of Passbook Printers
c. Supply, installation, Configuration and Commissioning of Dot Matrix Printers
d. Supply, installation, Configuration and Commissioning of Scanners
e. Supply, installation, Configuration and Commissioning of Uninterrupted Power Supplies
The Bidders are expected to quote for all of the above components.
3.4 SCHEDULE OF TENDER
3.4.1 The Tender Document will be available for purchase at or after 10:00 hrs on Friday, June 14 th ,
2013 from the Bank’s head office at Solan, H.P. It shall also be posted on the Bank’s website
http://www.jccb.co.in. In case the Bidder intends to download it, the cost of the tender document
