Chairman’s Report<br />
Dear Member<br />
This is your Breed Society and we do need input from our members. Our<br />
AGM has been booked for 19th November <strong>2011</strong>. Last year from a<br />
membership of more than 160 we only had 8 people attend the AGM! I do<br />
hope members show more interest this year. We need your nominations for<br />
the vacant positions of Company Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and<br />
Membership Secretary. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the<br />
website.<br />
This year we would like to follow the AGM with a “Members Meeting” This<br />
will give all members the chance to give their ideas of how the Society can<br />
be improved. One of the main topics we would like to discuss at this<br />
meeting is setting up a training seminar for the showing, preparation and<br />
presentation of Mares and Stallions for grading including how to train your<br />
horse for loose jumping. Training would be given by top German trainer<br />
Dieter Pothen (one of this years judges at our show). We need feedback<br />
from members to know if this would be well supported so please come<br />
along and have your say. If there are any other matters you would like to<br />
discuss please send me an email.<br />
Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be able to attend the AGM<br />

please let me know as soon as possible.<br />
With modern technology and in an effort to save on postage we would like<br />
to communicate with members wherever possible by email. Most of you<br />
who have already given us your email address will have received your notice<br />
of AGM via email this year. For those of you who we do not hold a current<br />
email address we have sent you your notice in the post.<br />
If you were one of the members who received their letter by post but would<br />
be happy to receive correspondence by email in the future please can you<br />
kindly email me on chairman@trakehners.uk.com with your email address.<br />
If you do not have an email address or would prefer to still receive all<br />
correspondence by post that is also fine.<br />
