With students up to 88 thousand İstanbul University is among the best 500 universities around the world since 2006. Founded in 1979 Galatasaray University is a highly prestigious place with providing education in French. Only nearly 500 students are accepted every year. Social and politics studies are widely respected in Galatasaray University. Educating only in English, Boğaziçi University is founded in 1971 and is one of the highest reputable universities in the country. Also İstanbul and Yıldız Technical Universities provide quality engineering and science studies while Mimar Sinan University gives arts, graphic and architecture educations. Marmara University that has campuses in both sides of İstanbul is a major academy place that provides education in many of the all branches and publishes major studies. The foundation universities like Kadir Has University, Bilgi University, Yeditepe University, Işık University, Aydin University, Bahçeşehir University, Kültür University, Koç University, İstanbul Commerce University, Sabancı University are among the 40 that the young generation considers. Universities in İstanbul not only provide distinguished education but also enable students to socialize in clubs of sports, theatre, music and many more. DıD YOu KNOW?
