PRESCRIBING INFORMATION<br />
Indications and Usage: "BeeGentle ® is indicated for temporary topical anesthesia of oral soft tissues. • Dosage & Administration: Apply a thin even coat. Allow saliva to contact varnish in<br />
order to solidify the varnish into a white layer. Profound anesthesia is achieved in about 2 minutes. Anesthesia lasts 20-30 minutes. Remove residual material with wet cotton gauze or allow saliva<br />
to dissolve the residual. • Dosage Form & Strength: Viscous gel containing benzocaine, 20%. • Contraindications: Not for use on patients with known sensitivity or allergies to benzocaine<br />
or other similar "caine" substances. Not for use in pulpectomy procedures or application to exposed roots. • Warnings & Precautions: For topical use only, DO NOT INJECT. Refer to the<br />
instructions for use and complete information. Avoid open flames or sources of ignition. Do not use if the packaging has been damaged or if the seals are found to be broken or open. Stop<br />
use and consult a health care practitioner if the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, gray, or blue colored skin as these may be signs<br />
of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use. Avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. Use with caution in children or consult<br />
a healthcare practitioner prior to use for children less than two years of age. Do not eat for one hour following use. Do not chew gum or food while numbness persists. • Storage & Handling:<br />
