Martin White tells us how to get a broken stub of a haft shaft out<br />
without taking the diff out.<br />
“firstly ascertain that the shaft has not broken off flush. <strong>The</strong>n get a<br />
piece of tube that will fit snugly over the half shaft. Burr up the inside<br />
of the tube so that it is grippy, and then push it up the back axle casing<br />
driving it onto the broken half shaft stub. <strong>The</strong>n pull the tube out with<br />
the end of the half shaft stub gripped inside<br />
