Furnace is about creating new
work with performance makers
from West Yorkshire and beyond;
placing artists and audiences at
the centre of the development and
realisation of theatre.
Furnace got off to a spectacular start in October, with
playtest workshops of Unlimited Theatre’s The Giant and
the Bear and Original Bearings by Slung Low, as well
as the first ever Furnace Symposium about creating and
producing theatre in the region.
As Furnace continues through 2012, we start work on
exciting new projects with Leeds based physical theatre
company RashDash and innovative ensemble Curious
Directive. Follow both projects, and others as they
