NEW<br />
Mini-Pellet Press (p.83)<br />
The Specac Mini-Pellet Press is an innovative<br />
entry level solution for the pressing of 7mm KBr<br />
pellets. Designed for use on a laboratory bench<br />
top, this dedicated KBr pellet press enables the<br />
user to create consistently high quality KBr<br />
pellets for transmission FTIR analysis.<br />
Mini-Film Maker Kit (p.94)<br />
The Specac Mini-Film Maker is designed to<br />
produce high-quality thin films of polymer and<br />
plastic materials for infrared analysis. This<br />
product enables quick and easy hot pressing of<br />
pellets and other sample forms from ambient to<br />
250°C, to give constant and reproducible<br />
thickness films over the range 50 to 500 microns<br />
with a formed diameter of 15mm.<br />
FTIR Starter Kits (p.100)<br />
Specac has developed a versatile range of<br />
Starter Kits based around our core accessories.<br />
Each Starter Kit is the result of combining<br />
modular application packs to form a kit that<br />
meets the specific needs of the user.<br />
Envirochamber Golden Gate ATR (p.60)<br />
The Envirochamber Golden Gate has been<br />
specifically designed for analysing samples in a<br />
sealed or controlled enviroment. The sample area<br />
is sealed within a chamber allowing samples to<br />
be positioned on the Golden Gate top-plate, in<br />
a safe environment such as a fume cupboard or<br />
glovebox. The sealed unit can then be safely<br />
taken back to the spectrometer for analysis.<br />
Silicon Crystal Plate for Silver Gate (p.64)<br />
In addition to the existing Zinc Selinide(ZnSe) and<br />
Germanium(Ge) crystal plates Specac is introducing<br />
a Silicon (Si) crystal plate for the Silver Gate<br />
Evolution . The Si crystal plate allows the Silver Gate<br />
Evolution to operate into the FIR region (30cm -1 ).<br />
