The illustration shows a schematic
vertical section through grid-line 24+50
east, and depicts a generalization of
the geology encountered at the
ATLAs-1 occurrence. holes are
collared in the footwall (mainly felsic
volcanics with mafic intrusives), and
pass from this unit into an alteration
zone with stringer mineralization. The
next unit encountered are the sulphide
lenses, and then back into a short
interval of felsic volcanics before
passing through an iron formation
marker horizon and into the
hangingwall (comprised primarily of
mixed mafic and felsic volcanics).
