• The plan was draft and adopted by CONFAM<br />
• The project was approved in February/2011<br />
• HKI is the Executy Agency<br />
– A National Food <strong>Fortification</strong> Strategy has<br />
been drafted and pending approval<br />
– Vehicles (wheat flour, edible oils) and<br />
micronutrients have been identified for 1st<br />
phase – Oil (vit A); wheat (NaFeEDTA, Zn, B12, Folic<br />
Acid)<br />
