tireless contributors and volunteers. He personally<br />
purchased and then donated hundreds of acres<br />
to MNA, help<strong>in</strong>g to establish nature sanctuaries<br />
around the state. Mason also left a significant<br />
bequest to MNA by transferr<strong>in</strong>g funds from his<br />
Individual Retirement Account to MNA.<br />
In honor of Mason and his family, MNA recently<br />
renamed our largest sanctuary the Schafer Family<br />
<strong>Nature</strong> Sanctuary at Roach Po<strong>in</strong>t.<br />
