Michael Booth, whose picture appears on the cover of the
calendar, receives his award from Alan Pardoe, Group MD
Phillipa Saunders, the Trust’s Waste Education Team Leader,
said,“We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our
calendar competition. All the winning entries carry a very
powerful message and we were overwhelmed with the
amount of hard work everyone put in. Although we had to
choose just 13 pictures to be printed, all the children who
entered should feel very proud of themselves.”
“We’d also like to thank the Hills Group for generously
funding the printing of the calendar, as well as the
Community Recycling and Economic Development
Programme (CRED) for funding the project itself.”
