Valparaiso's first annual UHot Buttered Rock"<br />
is a collection of the hot & steamy sounds of<br />
two of the best known Northwestern <strong>Indiana</strong><br />
rock bands: "The Farley Brothers" and<br />
"Crossfire". No admission is charged for this<br />
outdoor concert beginning at 6:30 P.M., on<br />
the Courthouse Square (at the corner of<br />
<strong>Indiana</strong> & Washington).<br />
Originality, Versatility, & Experience have<br />
made this local band, "The Farley Brothers", a<br />
group with staying power. Five years group<br />
experience and over 50 years of combined individual<br />
practice and performance provide the<br />
solid musical base from which "The Farley<br />
Brothers", have developed the completely<br />
original repretoire featured tonight. You will<br />
hear a blend of rock, jazz, and country as executed<br />
by: Paul Tatgenhorst, lead guitarist,<br />
Lyle Lenart, bass guitarist, Mark Borgarte, vocalist,<br />
Pat Osbourne, drummer and Ed Wilhelm<br />
keyboard.<br />
During the 2 years it has been in existence,<br />
"Crossfire" another local band, has become<br />
known for its visual effects as well as its sound.<br />
This rock band is composed of: Dan Peters,<br />
bass guitar, Ben Garcia, lead & rythym guitar,<br />
Scot Cook, keyboard & flute, Chip Holloway,<br />
drummer, Hap Mattes, lead & rythym guitar,<br />
and Tony Carl, vocalist.<br />
