True to its Mission
Since 1954 the Albuquerque Rescue
Mission has operated as a Christian
ministry serving the homeless and near
homeless people of Albuquerque and
cities throughout the state of New
Mexico. The Albuquerque Rescue
Mission (ARM) is a 501(C) 3 non-profit
charitable organization . ARM
provides food and clothing to thousands
of people each year on a daily
basis, as well as care to people in crisis
situations. ARM has long served as an
advocate on behalf of the needy and
homeless in the community.
Positive Programs
New Life Program for Men
Purpose is to assist and equip men to
overcome the problems that led to homelessness
and become productive citizens.
Structured one year program broken
down into four phases.
Focuses on areas of personal development;
spiritual, educational, daily living
skills, physical wellness, and recovery.
Women’s Center of Hope
Twelve month program conducted in a
home like environment.
Provides intensive counseling, treatment
and support to free women from their
addictions.
Restores a sense of self-worth by introducing
them to Jesus and the Gospel.
Teaches skills needed to provide for
themselves (and their children).
Provides academic studies, life skills,
job training, and placement services
Men’s and Women’s Day Rooms
Sanctuaries where homeless men and women
are encouraged to take their first steps on
a path to a brand-new life.
Food Ministry
Provides breakfast and dinner to homeless
men, women and children. Our food box
ministry provides an average of 20,000 meals
each month including food boxes that can
feed any size family, three nutritious meals
for seven days.

The Challenge
There continues to be an overwhelming
need to help the many individuals
and families who are homeless in the
Albuquerque area. ARM has proven,
through its positive ministry, to be
most effective in helping homeless
individuals to get back into the
mainstream and lead productive
lives in the community once again.
