General Information and Sale Notes<br />

Location<br />

The Show and Sale will be held at Rugby Farmers Mart, Stoneleigh Park (Royal Showground)<br />

Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG.<br />

From the North West: Leave the M6 at J2, following signs for Warwick (A46). After joining<br />

the A46 from the A45, take the exit signposted Stoneleigh NAC. Follow roadside signage<br />

to the Stoneleigh Park showground.<br />

From the North: Leave the M1 at J21, following signs for Coventry (M69). At the end of<br />

the M69, follow signs for Warwick. After joining the A46 from the A45, take the exit signposted<br />

Stoneleigh NAC. Follow roadside signage to the Stoneleigh Park showground.<br />

From the South: Leave the M40 at J15, following signs for Coventry (A46). After<br />

approximately 8 miles on the A46, take the exit signposted Stoneleigh NAC. Follow roadside<br />

signage to the Stoneleigh Park showground.<br />

On arrival at the Showground turn immediately left before you reach the Gatehouse<br />

and go through the gates with the RFM sign.<br />

Order of Events<br />

Friday 2 August<br />

4pm Inspections commence. All cattle must be on site by this time and be<br />

forward for inspection to be eligible to show and sell.<br />

Saturday 3August<br />

09.30am Show commences, followed by Young Handler competition<br />

12.30pm Sale commences<br />

6.00pm All cattle must be removed from site by this time<br />

Method of Sale<br />

All registered cattle will be sold in Guineas (105p)<br />

Transfer Fees<br />

A transfer fee of £10 plus VAT (£12.00) per lot is payable by both the vendor and the purchaser<br />

before pedigree certificates can be transferred<br />

Settlement and Clearance of Stock<br />

Settlement in full is due immediately at the close of the Sale. No animal may leave the<br />

premises without official documentation obtainable from the Auctioneers upon settlement.<br />

Pre-movement testing<br />

As from 1st March 2007 all cattle over 42 days of age from 1 or 2 year testing areas must<br />

have passed a TB test within the last 60 days. <strong>Cattle</strong> coming from 3 or 4 year testing areas<br />

are exempt.<br />
