The Geysir Geothermal Area holds the old Geysir, Strokkur and<br />
many other smaller hot springs and mud pools. <strong>An</strong> amazing<br />
experience to witness the shooting hot springs. The great Geysir<br />
has been dormant for many years, but the mighty Strokkur blows<br />
columns of water up to 40 metres into air every 5-8 minutes, so are<br />
sure to see a few eruptions.
