Since no official church campout has been planned, some of us decided we wanted to go camping anyway! We will be going to the East Lake Campground in Hopkins from July 16-21 (or any dates in between). If you have any interest in going, go to their website at www.eastlakecamping.com and fill out the reservation form. In the memo say that you are with the group from Fellowship Church. If you have any questions talk to Alisha Mulder. MISSIONS AND COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS Don't Miss This Week Wednesday!!! The Blood Drive will be held at our church on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00. Let us know that you are coming by signing up for a time still available or under the "walk-in" section. Sign -up sheets are in the Narthex, along with sign-ups for providing goodies. We hope to see MANY of you on Wednesday!! Hopefully we can once again break our record with regular and first-time donors. Remember that each pint of blood can help 3 to 4 people. Back Pack Buddies: New slips are in the bags on the bulletin board. We were able to get some great items from Feeding America this month but there are 5 Fridays in March and still many items needed to feed the children in our program. Please help, if you are able, by donating before February 28th. Thank you. Be Jesus’ Hands and Feet this summer- - M&CC is planning a service project for Summer 2013 with World Renew Disaster Response Services. It will be a week long project within a day’s drive of Grandville. We are scheduled with DRS for a week in June with specific week TBD based on participants’ input. Room and board are provided at the site at a minimum cost. Look for detailed information sheet in your church mailbox. A signup sheet is posted on the M&CC bulletin board. Questions? Ask Steve or Linda Westra MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP Plan on bringing a few friends to the next Middle School Youth group! We are planning a gym night at Calvin Christian Middle School on Saturday, March 9. We'll still meet at The Shop at 6:30, but parents may pick up their students at 9:00 from the CCMS gym. Message: “Jesus and Zacchaeus” (Luke 19:1-10) Offering: The Voorhees Trust Fund. Rev. Voorhees (Drenthe CRC) was killed in a car accident Nov. 21, 2008. This trust has been set up to help provide for continued health insurance for the family – Felicity and Gabriel were born with Cystic Fibrosis and have special needs; as well as funds for Christian education. FCRC plans to have quarterly collections for this trust fund. Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Working with the principle and teachers there we would provide food including two breakfast items, two lunch/dinner entrees, fruit, and snack items to feed a child on the weekend.
