CLASS OF 2014 IMPORTANT INFORMATION NCAA TRANSCRIPT INSTRUCTIONS If you are planning on sending your transcripts to NCAA – there is a new process in which to request transcripts. Please read the following information carefully. Naviance (Family Connection) has worked with eDocs – our electronic provider – to make it possible for our students to have their transcripts sent electronically to NCAA (which saves about 6 weeks of processing time!). 1 st step – log in to your NCAA profile. (you created an email and password when you register). 2 nd step – Click on the ‘my planner’ 3 rd step – Click on the RED My Tasks List 4 th step – Click on official transcript needed 5 th step – A task box will appear. It includes a sentence that reads “Click here to submit a request to Chaminade Julienne High School” VERY IMPORTANT – YOU MUST DOUBLE CLICK THE WORD CLICK!!!!! If you do that – it should take you to a screen that asks you yes or no to proceed, you click yes, and that takes you to a ‘DOCUFIDE/PARCHMENT’ screen. You will then be asked to create an account – YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS – just click the ‘continue without signing in’ button. Follow the prompts and you will be able to choose to send a transcript from Chaminade Julienne. Once that is done, your request syncs and appears in my document requests on Family Connection and allows me to send your transcript electronically! This will greatly improve the speed in which NCAA receives, reviews and completes your registration and eligibility review. Please stop by the Guidance office if you do not understand or have any questions. NOTE – Thank you to all of you who attended our Senior transcript workshop on Wednesday! Please remember to stop by Guidance and see Mrs. Wheeler or Mrs. Saunders at anytime, with any questions regarding the college process. Those of you who were unable to attend – please stop by Guidance ASAP to pick up your college info folder to receive instructions for your Family Connection account. 6
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION Debutante Ball 2013 – Female graduating Senior with a 2.5 GPA or better for the past 3 years and involvement in your community. Attend the Debutante Ball Introductory Tea on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 4-6pm at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Dayton. Call 937-263-1211 for more information. Miami University Bridges Program 2013 - Seniors (Class of 2014) - Bridges is an opportunity for students to visit our campus, spend time in the residence hall, participate in an academic class, and much more.
