This increase requested: 173,201.23
Adjusted amount: $ 372,990.69
The Consultant has completed the work called for in the contract. However, it is now
necessary to design an interim resurfacing improvement owing to a request from the Illinois
Department of Transportation to defer the start of reconstruction design engineering while
it evaluates possible add lanes to the Eisenhower Expressway. Additionally, the
supplement makes provisions for the Consultant to act as the Construction Engineer for the
resurfacing project. The County will compensate the Consultant based upon an estimate of
costs in a letter to the County, submitted herewith, and amounting to $173,201.23.
