German Savings Bank Association. <strong>The</strong> company serves the German savings banks (428 institutes).<br />

Other important customers of Finanz Informatik are companies such as Landesbanken (central<br />

banks for the savings banks and state banks), Landesbausparkassen (building and loan societies),<br />

insurance companies and other companies within the Savings Bank Association and the financial<br />

service sector. Finanz Informatik is responsible for conducting services for 129,6 million accounts;<br />

each year, billion technical transactions are being processed by the company’s systems. Finanz<br />

Informatik itself has 5,171 employees and has a revenue of 1,466.3 million euro (in 2010).<br />

<strong>The</strong> company offers the full scope of IT services – from development and implementation of IT<br />

applications, networks and technical infrastructure to data processing centers or consulting, training<br />

and support. Finanz Informatik offers OSPlus for the German retail banking sector; a comprehensive,<br />

unified system that is characterized by flexibility and openness. <strong>The</strong> company plays an important part<br />

in the ATM association of the European Savings Banks Organization EUFISERV that spans more<br />

than 75,000 savings bank ATMs in 12 countries.<br />
