what is difficult to appreciate before you go

Being a new destination, everything
inevitably looks fresh and modern. There is
nothing tired about any of Belek’s hotels,
clubhouses, facilities or courses.
One of the first hotels to be built here is
the Sirene, which is attached to Antalya Golf
Club and its PGA Sultan and Pasha courses.
The Sirene is a fabulous five-star venue that
would be the pride of most other resorts.
Then you look at its sister hotel Kempinski
and realise that in just a couple of years,
things move on in Belek. It’s just not a place
where they rest on their laurels.
Every hotel is shiny and sleek, with
amenities to boot. We think of Belek as a
place for a golf break but don’t overlook the
fact it’s also a very popular holiday destination.
This means that the hotels have several
pools, water slides, sandy beaches, tennis
courts, spas, gyms, and a myriad restaurants.
In the restaurants, you will not be
disappointed. Almost exclusively on an allinclusive
basis, what they offer at breakfast,
lunch and dinner – oh, and there is
afternoon tea too! – is almost daunting…
You barely know where to look when you
survey table upon table of freshly-made food
