Jesse Krebs is Associate Professor of Clarinet at Truman State University, where he joined the<br />
music faculty in 2005. Dr. Krebs has performed throughout the United States, England, and Costa<br />
Rica, and has been featured as a concerto soloist with the North Carolina and Central Florida<br />
Symphony Orchestras. <strong>In</strong> 2002, he was one of three Americans selected as a semifinalist for the<br />
<strong>In</strong>ternational Clarinet <strong>Association</strong> Young Artist Competition and competed in Stockholm, Sweden.<br />
He received a Doctor of <strong>Music</strong> in clarinet performance from the Florida State University, a Master<br />
of <strong>Music</strong> from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of <strong>Music</strong> from the University of North<br />
Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Krebs performed on recitals for the <strong>In</strong>ternational Clarinet <strong>Association</strong><br />
in Austin (2010) and Kansas City (2008), and he presented a research lecture in Atlanta (2006).<br />
He also performed on Iowa Public Television and can be heard on recordings with the North Texas<br />
Wind Symphony (Klavier and GIA labels). He has published articles in The Clarinet journal, The<br />
<strong>In</strong>strumentalist magazine, and the NACWPI journal. Dr. Krebs has been nominated twice for the<br />
Truman State University Educator of the Year Award, and was selected as a finalist in 2011.<br />
