then periodically during their stay.
Venous Thromboembolism (VTE)
has been widely reported as being
responsible for up to 25,000 largely
preventable deaths in UK hospital
patients each year.

link nurse who coordinates training of
staff to make sure all patients receive
appropriate treatment if needed.
