D.C. Excursions<br />
Meeting at Various Times and Locations<br />
Join your fellow classmates and the <strong>Orientation</strong> staff<br />
on some great excursions around D.C. Students<br />
are responsible for the cost <strong>of</strong> Metrorail fare and<br />
any meals/snacks. Your assigned excursion is on the<br />
back <strong>of</strong> your nametag. If you are on an excursion<br />
to the National Zoo: “Lions and Tigers and Bears,<br />
Oh My!” please make sure you leave with your<br />
<strong>Orientation</strong> advisers.<br />
Explore Old Town<br />
1 p.m., Pryzbyla Center Patio<br />
Take stroll down quaint Old Town Alexandria. Grab some<br />
gelato and walk down to the waterfront and boat gaze.<br />

Hansen, Ben Martell, Emmy Masarik, Becca Murray,<br />
Rachael Salamone, and Sharon Zwach.<br />
Take a Hike<br />
1 p.m., P.O.D. Entrance (1st Floor, Pryzbyla Center)<br />
Experience the majesty <strong>of</strong> nature at Rock Creek Park. Explore<br />
the forest, spot the animals, and relax.<br />
With Santino Cozza, Kaitlyn Feeley, Maddie Hotz, Ryan<br />
Van Fleet, Valerie Vook, and Claire Wagner.<br />
Let’s Go to <strong>The</strong> Mall … <strong>The</strong> National Mall<br />
1 p.m., Food Court (2nd Floor, Pryzbyla Center)<br />
Run up the steps <strong>of</strong> the Lincoln Memorial like Rocky, explore<br />
all the Smithsonians, and maybe paddle boat around the<br />
Tidal Basin.<br />
With Chris Brecken, Liz H<strong>of</strong>fman, Peter Kuebler, Martin Larson,<br />
Bridgette Reilly, Annie Schrandt, Taylor Sias, and Seth Tavera.<br />
Cupcake Central<br />
1 p.m., Columbus School <strong>of</strong> Law Steps<br />
Enjoy a cupcake while walking through Georgetown, sit by<br />
the water, and maybe do some shopping.<br />

Lions, Tigers, Bears, Oh My!<br />
1:30 p.m., Pryzbyla Center Patio<br />
Explore Woodley Park and Adams Morgan starting at the<br />
National Zoo. Hang with the monkeys, creep through reptile<br />
room, and chill.<br />

This Land Is Your Land, This Land Is My Land<br />

Take a step back in time to experience <strong>America</strong> from the very<br />
beginning at the National Museum <strong>of</strong> <strong>America</strong>n History in the<br />
very heart <strong>of</strong> D.C.<br />
