Coniferous Shrubs
Conifers are a group of plants that have needles rather than leaves and they may bear cones for
seeds. Conifers come in a wide variety of shapes, colors, textures, and sizes. They will add year-round interest
in your garden. The tall, graceful branches of a Leyland cypress providing an evergreen barrier to block a
view or the bright yellow foliage of a gold mop cypress shining through the snow in the winter can add great
impact in your garden. Be sure to include some conifers in your landscaping.
