FIREWOOD PROCESSOR
The Firewood Processor RCA 380
enables cutting logs of a diameter
up to 15" and the splitting of sawed
logs in lengths from 8" to 20". With
the help of the log loader DM 1511,
the logs are loaded to the infeed
conveyor and forwarded to the
length limiter to be cut. The cut log
falls into the splitting chute where it
is pushed against the 2 or 4 way
splitting wedge (6 and 8 way
splitting wedge optional) by the
splitting cylinder with 150 kN force.

The splitting wedges are easy
to adjust in order to suit the size
of the cut log. The firewood is
discharged through the 13'
conveyor.
The RCA 400 JOY is

(16" diameter)
firewood processor

and out), log cut off,
log split and wedge
adjustment. With
the other hand the operator can
run the log lifter, drink a cup of
coffee, or change the speed of
the discharge conveyor.
The RCA 400 JOY requires a
12 volt, 30 amps feed from the
tractor to operate the electro
hydraulic controls and oil cooler
fan.
Like the RCA 380, the log lifter
has a maximum capacity of one
thousand pounds and can handle
lengths up to twenty feet.

The RCA 400 JOY also features
a hydraulic log clamp, and a
hydraulically operated clutch for
the saw chain, so that it does
not run all the time. This lowers
consumption of bar and chain oil.
