cross-references to other applicants, the date span of documents
and their enclosures, and the number of documents that contain
a reference to the applicant or applicants. The terra "document" as
used in this microcopy refers either to an individual letter with no
enclosures or to a letter of transmittal with its enclosures.
The list contains only the names of applicants and of persons
recommended for positions. It does not list the names of individuals
whose letters of endorsement and comment are also in the file.
