Services include: 24-hour hotline and crisis intervention; court and hospital advocacy and accompaniment; counseling for child and adult survivors of rape, sexual assault, and sexual abuse and their loved ones; bilingual advocacy, interpretation, and crisis intervention for Latino/a survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; and information and referrals. GLCCB offers support groups for women of color; lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women; and for adult males who love men. GLCCB also provides a peer counseling, information, and referral service staffed by trained peer counselors for GLBT adults and a Youth Hotline for GLBT youth ages 21 and younger. These services are available in-person, by appointment, by telephone or via 2

(HERO) is Baltimore's oldest and largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the provision of HIV/AIDS-related services. HERO services for people affected by HIV/AIDS and associated conditions include: free and confidential HIV counseling, testing, and referrals; prevention education; mental health counseling; case management and client advocacy; mental health and substance abuse treatment; housing assistance; a legal services clinic; primary medical services for the insured; and financial assistance to eligible clients. HERO also operates the At the Door Re-Entry Program to prepare HIV+ prisoners in the Baltimore Metro area for release. Only individuals referred to HERO through the MDOC are eligible for this program. HERO also provides referrals and linkage to care to any Maryland prisoner in need of HIV/AIDS-related services. Services are provided on a sliding scale, but are free for individuals without the capacity to pay. Life Crisis Center, Inc. P.O. Services include: 24-hour hotline and crisis intervention; individual and group counseling; shelter for women and children; legal assistance; medical, legal, and emergency room accompaniment for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; anger management groups; and information and referrals. Life Crisis Center is willing to provide services to survivors in detention, but does not have any programs in the detention center at this time. Services are free or offered on a sliding scale, depending on the resources of the client. All services are confidential.
